Power Apps (excel + PowerPoint mix) are Rapid/Low Code products for internal company use. Power BI to analyze data (yellow excel, salesforce like), Power Automate(to reduce manual tasks), and Power Virtual Agents (flexible chatbots) should be used in mostly all cases. We should leverage the resources available to free up tasks in ways we see that could help the stakeholder.
I would reference these development steps: Planning Phase, Requirements, Design, Building, Document my steps, test, deploy(publish), and maintain(your app) does EY maintain the app, or does the customer?
(Agile)I would do these things first hypothetically: Obtain the customer's vision, explain how we could help increase productivity with this new app, use a template or create a new app, attend daily meetings, get customer input, flexibly change requests, attend a weekly meeting, show what goals have been met, get feedback, encourage team to assess goals find weaknesses/strenghts.
For this class project, I wanted to solve the problems associated with technology employees being able to showcase their skills and projects by making a Resume Display App.
Planning: The app is supposed to showcase live technology projects to potential buyers or employers. Integrate links,live videos, pictures, and call to action to buy products by displaying sales data in Power BI.
Requirements: The stakeholders are HR managers and customers of computer repair and arcade cabinets. They need a basic chatbot installed to answer after-hours questions. They need sample projects and videography of arcade functionalitites.
Design: Canvas app so we can integrate dashboards, charts, forms etc. Order form with pricing, videos,tutorials etc.
Building: Issues faced: I encountered getting my buttons to work and lead to the next app page, access to premium content, not being able to automate emails in techbridge environment, and coding in the function bar.Using virtual agents hurdles.(October,2022)
